"Reviving Ophelia" is very solid. I really like Mary Pipher's work (I just finished "Letters to a Young Therapist," her latest) to begin with, and coming from someone who was an adolescent girl not too terribly long ago, the book is invaluable to anyone dealing with them in any capacity. Should have been subtitled, "Things I Wish My Parents Had Known."
